love lives here

So for the month of April, we will continue to raise money for the Uplands Peak Sanctuary here in Indiana. We first heard about them right before we moved here and were encouraged by their story and their mission. They strive to make this world a better place. They are guided by the principle that all sentient beings have a natural and unalienable right to a life free from cruelty, abuse or neglect. They are giving these beautiful animals a second chance at life! How amazing is that?! Their service to the animals and the planet gives me hope of how wonderful beautiful people do exist in this world. It encourages me to be an example of love and to join their vision of a better life for all of us. There is a lot of darkness in this world, but there is also a whole lotta light. I choose to shine the light on the darkness and combine forces with others that also walk the path of love. I am angry that people choose to destroy the waters, the forest, the air, the land and I am furious that people torture, neglect and slaughter innocent animals that only want to live. What helps me to not go down the path of "this world stinks and all the people are awful" mode is simply by people like Michelle and Mark Pruitt that started the Uplands Peak Sanctuary. I am grateful to every human that lives their life full of love and peace and for the people that are part of this movement of change for the planet, for the humans and for the animals. What if we all opened our hearts just a little more and not only wanted a change, but actually took action for a change. Even the smallest gesture can make big waves. Love and peace are contagious....once you put it out there, someone else will notice and feel called to love and act kindly and another and another. We are all connected....the earth, the plants, the trees, the rocks, the moon, the sun, the people and the animals. What we do affects everything. I feel so lucky to live in a time where people are waking up and noticing this connection. I am well aware that there is a lot to do and there are always going to be naysayers...but that doesn't change the fact that I still choose love and compassion and kindness. I refuse to give into the darkness and go down the rabbit hole of destruction. I stand for love and compassion! So with that, Chad and I will continue to raise money for people like the Pruitts who are walking the path of love. They are moving their sanctuary to Freedom, IN and could really use some assistance with their vision. If you are called to help, you can donate through their website http://uplandspeaksanctuary.org or if you've been wanting something that Sacred Space creates, we will be donating 15% of all web sales to them through the month of April. Find what speaks to you. How will you expand your heart just a little bit more? Shine your light!

Until next time...much love and peace,

Trista

Sacred Space update.....

If you follow us on Facebook or Instagram you have seen that we are in the final stages of creating Sacred Space! We are so excited to be coming to the completion of construction and soon (within a month) be able to book healing sessions and attend breathwork retreats too! You will also be able to purchase any Sacred Space product along with some new items coming soon:)

Here's a new compassionate recipe to try out this weekend! I would love to get some feedback on any recipes that you guys have made or if you have any cruelty free recipes to share with me I would love it....I can always use some new recipes! I love to cook and bake...can't wait to share some bake goods with all my clients when you book a session at Sacred Space:)

Vegan Blueberry Muffins....I just made these and they were amazing. I am a fan of streusel, so I added a streusel topping made from vegan butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon and pinch of salt. Just mixed that up and sprinkled on top of each muffin before I baked them. Yummy!
